Turkey is one of the countries that I want to go to, you will find they love Mexican TV soaps and are like Mexicans in many ways, you will find they are the mojados in Germany as Mexicans are for the USA. but their food is so exotic and delicious besides, the country has many ancient cultures. Maybe I should at least check out this album, though! (I should probably just go ahead and buy this like I bought Master of Puppets last week after your video!)

So, back in those days, I couldn't afford to get into *every* band that came out, and Bulletboys is one of those bands that I just didn't follow. I did see the Smooth Up In Ya video a *lot* on MTV (and liked it!) and was aware of their subsequent 2 albums but just never sought them out.

Dave here. Also my first Motorhead gig (with Cro-Mags and Omen in San Antonio). Still have the (threadbare) 10th Anniversary shirt. Great album. Also have an oversized, UK subway-style poster of the album cover (it's actually Jason's, but I've had it hanging in my house for 10-15 years???). Enjoyed your review as usual. Funny, my Top 5 albums also contain none from my favorite bands. Just goes to show the power of a cohesive album over the greatness of an overall catalog.

Not familiar with this album, but I know I've heard Deaf Forever and Doctor Rock on a live album I believe. Maybe I'll check this one out!

Dan! There are still tickets available for Friday the 27th in the NA section for $2294.50, north and south Gradas. I just bought mine at NA19C, even you cam still find Abono for 2 days.

If I'm not mistaken, this was the first non-hair metal band album I ever got (it's between this and Helloween's Keeper of the Seven Keys. Memory's a bit fuzzy!). I hadn't heard a single song from this, but I remember seeing so many articles in Circus magazine I just had to see what the big deal was. I was blown away! Just a great album from start to finish. I eventually went back and bought Kill 'em All (not a fan) and Ride the Lightning (another great one!) but I still prefer this one.

I dig your t-shirt 'the Return of KISS', the original advert was from the '79 Dynasty tour as you know. Something not offered in t-shirt form at the time but the artwork was used for newspaper ads for the tour. It was not long after Eric Carr passed-away in the mid-90s the KISS company admitted 'Hot in the Shade' was largely a collection of hastily collected demos. You recall the Toronto CNE grandstand debacle of Whitesnake headlining over KISS, it was a poorly attended show and KISS made their dissatisfaction with the arrangement known on local media. The HITS album came out in Canada in November '89, and the HITS tour did a lost cities tour across Canada in '90. A complete sell-out of shows across this country and the biggest selling tour in Kisstory in Canada.

Though not my Fav KISS album, Ill take HITS over Asylum, The Elder and LIU any day...
